Accelerating the practical application of inkjet 3D printing equipment in mass production processes.

Full-color direct printing on various three-dimensional objects is now possible! Co-creation to adapt inkjet technology to diverse needs.

Due to the diversification of needs and designs, there is a growing demand to directly print on the surfaces of various three-dimensional objects, such as products and packaging materials, using functional inks and attaching information labels like barcodes. However, production methods and printers based on analog printing have primarily focused on flat surfaces, making it difficult to print directly on three-dimensional objects. As a result, multiple processes or manual work have been necessary, which has reduced production efficiency. Additionally, in cases where organic solvent inks are used, creating a safer working environment has been a challenge. In response, Epson is strengthening its efforts to understand customers' specific needs regarding the automation of printing on three-dimensional objects and aims to achieve full-color capabilities in inkjet printing devices for three-dimensional objects, accelerating their practical application in customers' mass production processes. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

[Video Now Available] "Printing of Electronic Circuit Boards Using Inkjet Technology"

Eliminating the need for "plates" due to direct printing allows for a reduction in development and prototyping time! It also contributes to the efficiency of small-lot, diverse production, reduction of cleaning solutions, and the reduction of waste in printing operations.

By replacing the traditional printing process with "inkjet printing," which does not require plates, we can cut out the plate-making process and achieve a reduction in development and prototyping time. This enables efficient responses to small-lot, diverse production. Additionally, there are various benefits such as reducing plate management costs, decreasing the amount of cleaning solution used, and minimizing material waste by printing only the necessary amount where needed. **Three Features of Epson's Inkjet Technology** - **Compact:** Reduction of device space through high-density nozzle design - **High Durability:** Reduced performance degradation and maintenance burden due to non-thermal ejection - **High-Speed Ejection:** Achieving high production with a maximum of 50,000 ejections per second Epson provides one-stop development support for solving challenges in various liquid application processes, including consultation, verification, experimentation, and evaluation. Since inkjet does not require masks or plates during liquid application, it results in less material waste, shortened processes, and, if automated, eliminates the need for skilled craftsmanship. *Please see "What is the secret to printing silver wiring without using plates?" available for download in the PDF below.*

"Inkjet Solutions" <Includes videos such as printing on electronic circuit boards>

Epson's inkjet technology solves various challenges such as labor reduction, environmental impact and cost reduction, and quality improvement.

Our company proposes "inkjet solutions" that apply inkjet technology to manufacturing, achieving efficient small-batch and diverse production. By conducting hearings on manufacturing processes, we can provide total proposals that include the development of inkjet devices, such as reducing labor in the printing process and cutting waste of paint, thereby lowering environmental impact. We explain through prototypes of surface processing, such as direct wiring on helmets, adding insulation functions to diatomaceous earth, wood, and films, and three-dimensional wiring and design. 【What Epson's inkjet technology can do】 ■ Efficient prototyping and small-batch diverse production through digitalization ■ Printing without degrading or altering the ink through non-heating ■ Reducing environmental impact and costs by minimizing waste liquid and material loss ■ Arranging and laminating various materials in different dimensions ★ Various solution videos are available at the link below. Please check them along with the materials. Feel free to contact us for any inquiries. Thank you very much.
